Osteria Da Mordicchio

Fantastic!!! From the first step across the threshold to the final sip of espresso the service was spectacular, we were made to feel like favorite guests on our first visit The food was, like the service, exceptional Great wine recommendations added to our enjoyment. The gricia was amazing, the cheese coating the strands of tonarelli perfectly and picking up pieces of crispy guanciale in every twirl. The wife's cacio e pepe was every bit as good, super creamy (without cream) and nicely peppered. Got the crumble for dessert, creamy and rich with crunchy sugar sprinkled biscuits and the most luscious strawberries. Perfect end to a great meal We will most definitely return to try the steak...and the pizza

Amazing spot in the middle of town. The staff was excellent and the food amazing. Authentic Tuscan dishes, pasta fresca, regional wine, and wood fired pizzas. Our hostess spoke excellent English - an added bonus for my poor Italian.

After 2 weeks of being in this beautiful Tuscan region and trying restaurants near and far from our Villa we stumble upon this absolute Gem ,right here in our own backyard...Just 12 minutes from us. Right from the moment we arrived we were greeted with kindness and excitement by Deanna. The night exponentially got better as it went on. The food,the libations and the deserts were FANTASTIC and Deanna our server was EXCEPTIONALLY AMAZING If you or anyone you know is in the area of Scandicci, you must go to Osteria da Mordicchio.

Amazing restaurant and great service. The ambience is pretty calm and pleasant. The ower is a very respectful person. If you wish to try authentic Italian cuisine,Osteria da mordicchio is the ideal place! The menu is absolutely fantastic: Homemade fresh pasta,delicious appetizers, handmade pizzas, high quality meat,excellent vine ranges, everything is exceptional! Fiorentina dish with baked potatoes was next level. Cacio e pepe dish was so creamy. The dessert Crème Brûlée was outstanding! Highly recommended for lunch and dinner! Great experience in Florence! We will definitely go back!

We had a wonderful dinner here and truly enjoyed everything. We tried the Tagliata Rucola e Grana and the Tagliata Classica – the meat was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The side dishes were excellent: the grilled vegetables were flavorful, the roasted potatoes tasty, and the fries were crispy without being greasy. For dessert, the tiramisu was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, and the crème brûlée was also delicious. The restaurant itself has a very cozy atmosphere, the service was kind and attentive, and the whole experience felt relaxed and unhurried. We would absolutely recommend this place, and if we’re back in the area in the future, we’ll be very happy to return

This place has my heart. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is super warm and cosy. The service is above and beyond. This is one of those places that I will come back to, next time I'm in Italy and recommend everyone I know to try.
